Steven K.S. Chung is of counsel to Imanaka Asato LLLC and leads the firm’s Commercial and Real Estate Litigation group. For over forty years, Mr. Chung has effectively represented clients in a wide range of commercial, construction, consumer credit, corporate, environmental, lending, and real estate disputes.
Mr. Chung has handled ADR disputes, tried cases in federal and state courts, and handled numerous appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Hawaii Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and serves as an arbitrator for the Court Annexed Arbitration Program. In addition, Mr. Chung has spoken at several seminars sponsored by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Chung served as an Infantry Platoon Leader in the Vietnam War before attending the University of Hawaii, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He earned his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
