Anthony F.T. Suetsugu is a partner in the Commercial and Real Estate Litigation group at Imanaka Asato LLLC. Mr. Suetsugu's practice focuses on commercial litigation, trust and probate litigation, banking and insurance regulation, liquor licenses, and corporate and transactional matters.
Mr. Suetsugu seeks to positively impact the Hawaii community through his service to various non-profit organizations and other groups, including being on the board of directors for ClimbHI, a local non-profit that puts on the largest workforce development program in Hawaii. In his spare time, Mr. Suetsugu also coaches high school football and soccer, serving at public and private schools across Oahu.
Mr. Suetsugu received his law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. While attending law school, Mr. Suetsugu served as Casenote Editor of the Hawaii Law Review, completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, received the award for best brief in appellate advocacy, and was a member of the Intellectual Property Moot Court Team.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Suetsugu attended Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, where he received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Government and co-authored “Determination of Reference Ranges for Transcutaneous Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Tension and the Oxygen Challenge Test in Healthy and Morbidly Obese Subjects” in the Spring 2008 edition of the Journal of Surgical Research.
